It was 1985 when Pat Galina, owner and operator of Girls Night-Out Parties, first conceived of the idea of beginning her party business. At the time she was a full-time student at the University of Memphis, Tennessee studying marketing and sales. Struggling to keep up with college tuition payments, Pat realized, as most of us have, that she was spending way more than she was bringing in. She'd have to remedy this fast or risk having to quit school.

It was her twin sister her took her to her first "passion" party. She was attempting to distract her from her studies for a bit. And boy did it work! She had a blast! And she spent $45.00 that night on a few goodies. She just couldn't help herself, despite the fact that she wasn't necessarily in the position to be spending money too frivolously. But it was that very notion that inspired an epiphany which lead to what now is known as Girls Night-Out Parties. What was that epiphany? Passion products are a necessity! And women simply cannot go without! During the best of times or the worst of times, passion products are strong sellers, and they're a whole heck of a lot of fun to sell, too!
